1. Write an essay in which you compare a major character in a required dramatic work (i.e. a play) with a character from any dramatic poem found in the Poetry section of the anthology. Include an identification of each character’s major traits and a discussion of how each author presents the character through literary elements, action, dialogue, interior monologue).2. Write an essay in which you compare how tension and conflict are developed and resolved in a required dramatic work and in any work of fiction in the Fiction section of the anthology. Describe important moments of tension, conflict, and resolution, and should include a discussion of how each author builds tension, expresses conflict, and creates resolution.3. Write an essay in which you analyze how figurative language impacts a required dramatic work as compared to any work of fiction found in the Fiction section and/or any work of poetry found in the Poetry section of the anthology. The discussion should focus on one or two types of figurative language and provide several examples meaningful to each text.Also include a post in which you summarize the dramatic work (i.e., play) over which you will write your essay.
